November 1, 2011 - Baltimore, Md. - A person was sent to the hospital following a collision between a Baltimore County police cruiser and a civilian vehicle during the afternoon on Saturday, October 29.
The Baltimore Sun reports that the accident happened shortly before 2 p.m. close to the crossroads of Putty Hill Avenue and Goucher Boulevard. The marked patrol united was involved in the crash with a black Mitsubishi SUV. Exact details of how the accident occurred are not yet available.
Reports indicated that at least one person was injured as a result of the crash. That person was transported to the Greater Baltimore Medical Center to be treated for unknown injuries.
Police have so far been unable to determine who was at fault for the accident. Police said that Saturday's wet snowfall may have been a factor in the accident, but they have not been able to confirm it. The accident is under ongoing investigation.
