July 6, 2011 - Baltimore, Md. - A pregnant woman was one of 2 people injured on Tuesday in a serious car accident in Baltimore County. According to a report at WBAL Baltimore, the pregnant victim suffered serious personal injuries that required an emergency airlift to Baltimore.
Police say the victims were driving on Falls Road in Butler when the accident occurred near the intersection of Miller Road. Police were called shortly after 9 a.m.
First responders arrived to find 2 people with serious injuries, including a pregnant woman. The pregnant victim was airlifted to Baltimore Shock Trauma Center in critical condition.
The second victim, an unidentified man, was transported by ambulance to Sinai Hospital. His condition also hasn't been released.
Police have released little information on how this accident occurred. It's not currently known if the victims were traveling in the same vehicle or if this was a multi-car collision. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
