February 7, 2012 – Glen Burnie, Md. – During Saturday morning, February 4, 2 people were sent to Shock Trauma following a possible DUI accident.
WBALTV reports that crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on Green Branch Lane, close to Crainmont Drive. Officials said that a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu was driving northbound on the roadway when it crashed into a parked 2005 Chevrolet van. The impact caused the van to hit a 1994 GMC pickup truck. The owners of both vehicles weren’t present when the accident occurred.
The Malibu’s driver, Daryl Laroy Moss Jr., 31, was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma immediately following the accident. His condition is defined as stable.
A passenger in the Malibu, Jason William Vail, was first transported Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was later sent to University of Maryland Shock Traumato be treated for critical injuries.
Officials said that excessive speed and alcohol may have been factors in this accident. The crash remains under investigation.
